Insurance Information
Premium Payment, Review & Termination
The insurance premium, inclusive of insurance premium
tax, is included within the system rates quoted which are collected monthly
in arrears. Please contact CIP for the latest
price list and cost breakdown.
A month end declaration / invoice is produced by the system on the first
day of each month. A printed copy of this invoice must be forwarded to CIP
along with a cheque to cover the relevant usage. This must be forwarded
to CIP within 7 days. Non payment / outstanding premium will prejudice your
position under the terms of the Motor Insurance Policy and also result in
the Automate System being suspended.
CIP reserve the right to amend the systems rates on a periodic basis. Amendments
will not be implemented without giving at least 90 days notice.
In the event this facility is to be cancelled it would become your responsibility
to confirm, in writing, when cover is to cease (giving at least 90 days
notice) and to return the Certificate of Motor Insurance within seven days
following the termination of the facility.
In the event that the Motor Insurer cancels the policy due to non payment
of premium, CIP, acting on instruction, will write giving seven days notice
to your last known address by recorded delivery - the return of the Certificate
of Motor Insurance together with settlement of outstanding premium/costs
will be required.
Failure to return the Certificate of Motor Insurance is an offence under
the Road Traffic Act.
